love ourselves

It is impossible to love others if we don’t first love ourselves. I know I always had a hard time loving myself because all I focused on were my mistakes and bad decisions. All I could see was the things I had done wrong my entire life. I always thought of myself in the negative person instead of 3rd person. However, I have learned through much pain and regret to live in the positive person. Don’t neglect the negative, but don’t live in it and focus on it. Learn from the mistakes and bad choices; then apply that knowledge. Look at the positive aspect; every situation has a positive and a negative side. What you focus on is what you are become.
